Trinity Baptist Church, 504 South Oak Street, Seneca, SC

Give yourself an early holiday treat and enjoy the Foothills Chorale’s performance of “Light and Peace” under its new director, Dr. Allyss Haecker. You’ll hear pieces by Lauridsen, Bach, Carnahan, and many others, focusing on a theme that speaks to all of our hearts. Members of the Seneca High School Madrigals will be joining us to perform Stephen Paulus’ “Hymn to the Eternal Flame.” They will also present delightful holiday selections such as "Comfort and Joy," "It Came Upon a Midnight Clear," and "My Love Is Always Here."

“Singing, Bring Me Home”
7:00 PM, Saturday, May 13, 2023
Trinity Baptist Church, 504 South Oak Street, Seneca, SC

Join the Chorale for an up-tempo spring concert that will include Gene Koshinski’s award-winning Concerto for Marimba with Choir and Percussion. The program will also include traditional South African choral music such as “Senzenina,” “Asimbonanga,” and “Modimo.” The sanctuary will be rocking as we sing the Haitian folk song “Peze Kafe,” arranged by Sten Kallman. Percussion will continue to be a feature as we present “Singing, Bring Me” by Kansas City composer Ryan Main and “Lightly Stepped a Yellow Star” by Greenville composer Dan Forrest.
